Volunteer In Probation

Make a Difference

Gain valuable experience working with juvenile and adult offenders. The Orange County Probation Department is one of the most respected Criminal Justice agencies in the state of California for utilizing state-of-the-art research and programming in its work with offenders.

Minimum Volunteer Requirements

  • Attend a Volunteer Information Meeting
  • 21 Years Old
  • U.S. Citizen or Legal U.S. Resident
  • Valid Social Security number
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Pass Background Investigation

2017 Volunteer Information Meetings (see map below)

  • Tuesday, May 9th at 5pm*
  • Wednesday, June 7th at 5pm*
  • Thursday, July 13th at 5pm*
  • Thursday, September 14th at 5pm*
  • Tuesday, November 7th at 5pm*

*Please be on time. Admittance after 5:15pm will not be accepted.

Orange County Probation Department

The Grand Avenue Office is located south of 1st Street and north of McFadden Avenue. Enter the parking on the north side of the building. Parking is free. The doors will close 15 minutes after the session begins. Please be prompt.
