Volunteer Opportunity

Become a Public Health Clinic Volunteer! 

Orange County Health Care Agency public health clinics promote health and prevent disease within the community.

Volunteer Activities:

  • Assist in a clinic's reception area and provide customer service;
  • Respond to questions from the public;
  • Distribute paperwork to visitors for completion;
  • Answer phones and make appointments;
  • Assist with filing and faxing of documents; and
  • Process information using Microsoft Office Word, Access and/or Excel.


  • Bilingual language skills in Vietnamese, Farsi or Arabic are required.
  • Minimum age to volunteer is 18.
  • Commit to a minimum of 15 - 20 hours per week (or more) for 3 or more months.  Volunteer shifts may be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Additional Information:

  • Volunteers are fully trained and are offered an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and skills within a public health setting.
  • Business or office attire is required.
  • Clinic is located in the city of Santa Ana near 17th & Bristol.
