Trish Noa named Rancho
Santa Margarita Library Manager
The Orange County Public Library (OCPL)
has announced the appointment of Trish Noa to the position
of Branch Manager of the Rancho Santa Margarita Branch
Library, effective Friday, May 5, 2000.
Noa received a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Duquesne University
in Pittsburgh, and a Masters in Information and Library
Science from the University of South Florida. Before coming
to Orange County, she was a Library Specialist at the
Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Public Library in Annapolis,
Maryland, and Branch Manager at the Memphis/Shelby County
Public Library in Tennessee. In 1998 she was hired into
OCPL as a Children's Library Specialist, then promoted
to the position of Senior Library Specialist at the Garden
Grove Regional Library.
"I'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge at
the Rancho Santa Margarita Library, especially through
the new information access technology now available at
our libraries," Noa said.
Noa enjoys hiking, gardening, and reading, and makes her
home in Foothill Ranch with her husband, George, and collie,
Angus.
