Election Date Email Declared Hoax
(Santa Ana-CA) – Orange County Registrar of Voters Rosalyn Lever said that an email currently circulating and instructing Democrats and Independents to wait until November 8 to vote is a complete hoax.

All Orange County’s polling locations will be open November 7 from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.  No voting will be permitted after the polls close November 7.

Lever forwarded the email to Secretary of State Bill Jones’ office in Sacramento.  The matter will be investigated as potential voter fraud.

“The important message is that  voters can go to the polls and vote during the usual hours on November 7,” said Lever.  “The voting date and times remain unchanged.”
