Chief Information Officer Resigns

(Santa Ana, CA) – County Executive Officer Thomas G. Mauk today accepted the resignation of Dan Hatton, Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Deputy County Executive Officer. The resignation is effective June 17. He joined the County in January 2003.

Hatton has expressed an interest in returning to the private sector.

“I appreciate the leadership that Dan has exhibited in resolving the Cerner issue and in reorganizing the data center,” said Mauk. “Decisions about filling the CIO position will be made within two weeks.”
