Public Works To Hold Open House May 20 At County Facility

(ANAHEIM, CA) The County of Orange Public Works division will host an Open House and Collector Car and Motorcycle Show Saturday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Katella Yard Facility - 1750 S. Douglass Road in Anaheim near the Arrowhead Pond. The event will include equipment exhibits, displays, games, collector cars and motorcycles, and food. One Million Volunteer Service Hours Valued at $23 Million

(Santa Ana, CA) County volunteers last year contributed more than one million hours of service valued at $23 million in avoided costs for County government. To recognize that contribution, the Board of Supervisors will pay tribute to the achievements of the 25,400 volunteers at the tenth annual Countywide volunteer recognition ceremony on April 21.
