September 20, 2018  Serve Your Community on Election Day! Become a Poll Worker for the November 6, 2018 General Election!The Registrar of Voters is seeking individuals who want to give back to their community to serve as poll workers on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Poll workers receive comprehensive training to serve as Clerks or Inspectors on Election Day from 6 a.m. to approximately 9:30 p.m. Depending on the role, volunteers are paid a stipend between $120-$160. Individuals must be registered voters in the State of California or Legal Permanent Residents to volunteer in Orange County. Volunteers who are bilingual in Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Farsi (Persian) and Tagalog are especially needed to help voters with limited English skills.
