August 8, 2018  County of Orange Reports First Human West Nile Virus Infection of 2018A Tustin woman in her 70s was diagnosed this week with West Nile Virus (WNV) encephalitis. She is the first human WNV infection identified in Orange County, California this season.

August 6, 2018  Orange County Emergency Operations Center Deactivates

The County of Orange is deactivating the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at 9 p.m. on Aug. 6, 2018.

Evacuations remain in place for Orange County residents of the following areas impacted by the Holy Fire: Holy Jim Canyon cabins, Trabuco Canyon Residence Tract cabins, and Blue Jay and Falcon Campgrounds. The following road closures also remain in effect in Orange County: Trabuco Creek Road at Trabuco Canyon Road and Robinson Ranch at County Hollow Lane.
