Effective 1841 hrs on Thursday, May 21, 2026, the Orange County Sheriff's Department issued an Evacuation Order (Mandatory) for hazardous a materials (vapor) release.
On Friday, May 22, 2026 at 0607 hrs, additional evacuation orders for impacted areas were launched due to changes in the incident. At 1116 hrs, the evacuation area was further expanded to the borders listed below.
The following cities are affected by the evacuation orders: Garden Grove, Stanton, Anaheim, Cypress, Westminster, and Buena Park.
Updated Evacuation Order:
Local Law Enforcement has reduced the Evacuation zone to the area between Orangewood, Dale, Garden Grove Blvd. and Knott in response to the ongoing issue in Garden Grove. Check the Public Information Map below for the status of your address.
