The County of Orange is updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan, which supports reducing risk from natural hazards, such as wildfires, earthquakes, and floods. The update process occurs every five years and is focused on protecting community members, businesses and critical services in the County, especially in unincorporated areas. Hearing from the community is important to support prioritization and to ensure that community risks are covered within the plan.
Join the County for an upcoming public workshop, learn more about what a Hazard Mitigation Plan is, the process, and how your input can support the plan update.
*If you need interpretation services in Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, or Korean, please indicate with your registration by Friday, April 3, 12:00 p.m.
In addition to the upcoming workshop, the County is soliciting input on natural hazards from residents through a survey. Click the
survey link or scan the QR code to provide your valuable input in shaping the Hazard Mitigation Plan Update.
